Stop Hunger Now

Stop Hunger Now, a town-wide, inter-faith, inter-generational event, takes place each year in WPC's Parish Hall.  Over 700 volunteers, including WPC members, gather to package dry meals for the hungry.  These meals are then distributed to schoolchildren in areas of crisis.

Pictures from the 2016 event can be found below.  At the town-wide event on October 22nd, 2016 over 165,000 meals were packaged by over 600 volunteers - that's enough to feed over 450 children for an entire year!

Read more about this event in "Hunger will stop for 452 children" from the Wilton Bulletin.  Or read about how WPC member Patrick Cummins, inspired by the WIACT event, took Stop Hunger now to his 7th grade class!
