Merry Mission!  Faith in Action for the Holidays

advent calendars

Advent calendars will be going on sale Sunday, November 20th after worship. No assembly required as they come pre-assembled by our youth.

Our Advent calendar is designed to help children focus on the spiritual meaning of the holidays at home in a way that is both inviting and meaningful. Reserve yours in advance on the sign-up sheet posted in the Narthex.

The Calendars are $20 and can be picked up in the Gathering Space after worship on Sunday, November 20th or outside of the JCCEC office during the week. Cash or checks are accepted (please make checks payable to "JCCEC.")

WPC is collecting food for Thanksgiving baskets to be distributed on behalf of  Wilton Social Services and Family Re-Entry.  If you took an index card during worship please be sure to deliver your donated items by Sunday, November 20th - before worship - and be sure that they are labeled "WPC" as St. Matthews will be donating baskets and storing food in the kitchen as well!

the gifts of christmas

The gold stars are back!

The Gifts of Christmas is a unique giving opportunity that is  intended to honor your friends and relatives by helping others.  Inside the Gifts of Christmas  catalogue you will find over forty ways to spread joy to the hungry, the homeless, the sick and the challenged.  And this year we’ve included three items that will build WPC’s own memorial garden in hope that the garden will grow to serve a greater community – just as the members of WPC do!

Peruse the Gifts of Christmas website - you can order online or from your smartphone!  Or, if you are not digitally inclined, then you can download the catalogue and order form and bring it to the WPC office or to Parish Hall directly after worship on Sunday now through December 18th.
